Preparation for competitions of any level takes 2-4 months of continuous work.
Main stages:
  1. General preparation: For 1-2 months, two-hour medium-intensity training is conducted to develop muscle strength and technical skills.
  2. Specialized preparation: Lasts 3-4 weeks with high intensity. The main goal is to increase special endurance and maintain a high pace. Priority is sparring.
  3. Pre-competition period: Lasts 1-2 weeks, short training sessions of 45 minutes at maximum intensity. It is important to avoid injuries and get into the desired weight category.
  4. Competition: No training, daily weigh-in and weight maintenance are a priority.
  5. Recovery stage for a fighter.

Individual approach includes:

  • Analysis of technical skills.
  • Correction of errors.
  • Sparring with masters of sports.
